When doing body work.... clean area thoroughly. Grind and pull dents with 24 or 36 grit. After 1st urethane prime, guide coat and use 220 grit with DA. 2nd prime coat ,guide coat and wet sand with 400 wet grit paper. Seal paint. Less cost and ive been doing it for 40 years. Let the air tools and guide coating do the work. Don't need all these grits PERIOD!!!!

Hey there! Just found your channel and loving every bit of it. Can you help me here a little. Trying to paint power wheels - all body and parts are plastic. I know some would find this as a waste of time and money but I want to give it another life. Going with Brooklyn grey. My question is - should I use bulldog before my primer coat or not ? I want this paint to be able to withstand some bumps and bruises as little kits do drive these little cars aggressively at times. Please let me know your thoughts. I am also leaning more toward the spray can method which should be the cheapest considering I have no paint booth, paint guns, compressor, etc Thanks much in advance and God bless

Great video, but wish you would have talked more about the rust as that is what the title is about. I guess you are saying , remove as much as you can by sanding, then the epoxy application should convert or seal the rust?

Is there any difference between a wet coat and dry coat other than speed and distance from surface?
